ABOUT US

WHO WE ARE

The ALWA Play Scheme is a Non-Profit Organisation set up with the focus of supporting the needs of the growing community of Autistic children. We run an out of school holiday club for children aged 5-13 yrs which runs during the School Half Terms and Holidays. We provide a safe supportive environment in which they can play, learn and grow and be taught life skills to lead them into living a fulfilled and abundant life.

We also help and support the needs and wellbeing of their parents, carers and family members through a variety of avenues such as sharing of information and support.

All of our staff are qualified teaching assistants with experience of working with children in schools, they have a deep passion for supporting children with SEND and aim to create an uplifting and enjoyable experience for your children each time they attend the Play Scheme.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Abundant life for All

At the ALWA Play Scheme we believe that Autistic children no matter what their circumstances should be given the opportunity to thrive and live a happy abundant life. ALWA's vision is to play a positive role in supporting children with additional needs, their parents, carers and families. We aim to provide a space where the children can learn and play in an inclusive environment supported by specialist staff, and we want to be part of a support system for their families. We wish to promote the acceptance of Autism and SEND individuals, and expand social awareness.

 OUR FACILITIES
